Course Description

This course builds upon the previous course, “Biblical Foundations of Counseling.” Though it is not absolutely necessary to take these two courses in sequence, we strongly recommend starting with the Biblical Foundations of Counseling course in order to avoid unnecessary confusion.

This course takes the biblical foundation developed in the previous course and explores the implications of that foundation for our approach to discipleship and counseling. How do you sit down with other people; assess their problems, concerns, and relationships; and help them grow in Christlikeness? This course will help you think through those issues and develop a practical approach to helping people change and grow.
